Clare has developed a unique and extended series of techniques for
improvising on the harp and ancient chinese Guzheng, primarily exploring
gritty, animated sound that works against the instruments typecast,
think strings that grunt, snort and hiss.
When not playing Harp she is a 3D animator and co-director of the NOW
now series and festival of spontaneous music.
