having collaborated with martin ng (australia), christian fennesz (austria), otomo yoshihide (japan), pimmon (australia), john zorn (usa), voice crack (switzerland), sachiko m (japan), keith rowe (uk), phill niblock (usa), gunter muller (switzerland), evan parker (uk), toshimaru nakamura (japan) the obvious next choice for an oren ambarchi collaborator was the legendary minus eleven error (wagga wagga) and from the week of their residency at a railway museum in regional new south wales emerged a unique interactive sonic experience which will confront challenge and confound audiences prepared to make the journey through the mutable landscape

said minus eleven error : "oren and i are both interested in exploring the spaces between sound, music and noise and this is what we came up with – but since the piece relies on a large number of cheap portable cd players some of which i am already very annoyed with we will just have to see what happens on the day…"
